I really hope Mercedes decides to dumb down the gee-whiz technology and luxo for this car, and make it a true sports car. The SLR was too heavy, too much Mercedes-ish. The SLC should be more AMG-ish (C63-like, loud, brash, fun).

I believe Mercedes finally has it's priorities straight with the SLS. I think this car will be what enthusiasts had been hoping the SLR was going to be once. On the other hand, I am curious to see what the next SL is going to be like. Hopefully not an interpretation of the SLS, but rather a modern two seater on a lighter aluminium chasis but still with all the tech and features of Mercedes.

I can't wait to see pics of the exterior. I really want to see Mercedes design interpretation of an expensive sports car, and from what I've seen of spy pics and renderings the car will look fantastic.

Well, we do know the technical specs as well as the design of the interior. The only thing that we don't know is what the exterior looks like and how it'll drive (Which I'm sure will be fantastic).
