F1 cars KERS systems weigh 25kg but are limited to 20% efficiency in order for the system not be overwhelmingly beneficial. At 100% efficiency KERS must be amazing. BMW will hopefully keep the weight of the hardware to a minimum so that KERS don't become dead weight during driving when you don't need a boost. |
