The fact that it has a number plate suggests it is a street version. Also I spy a passenger seat. AFAIK, M3 GT4 doesn't have one. So there is hope it is a street version.

But it would have to have some sort of plates for testing on the ring, it is a public road, after all.

It also has the shark fin radio antenna, something GT4 doesn't have nor need.

But a street version might need it...

And if this was made for testing the KERS system, why on earth put the ricer wing on it?

Hmm, yea that is the point I am making, that it is a street car. Who cares if it called CSL or GT4 street version..

And I also said earlier (or may be in the CSL thread) it is unlikely it is just KERS testing platform. But thanks for repeating it to me

That's what I was thinking. Why have special wheels and front and rear spoilers just for KERS

Good point! Any chance they just happened to leave it on ? Do they even start with a production car when testing something like a GT4 or is it built from the ground up?
