BMW M1 Concept: BMW-Hybrid-Sportler zur IAA | News - auto motor und sport

Here are some details from the article:
Its called BMW M1 Concept Hybrid
Design is oriented on the M1 Hommage car, but much smaller ( size of a 3-series car, 4,5 m)
Powered by 2 electric engines, one for front and one for rear, combined with a small combustion engine
Acceleration similar to Porsche 911

There Germans are at it again, Edrive SLS, electric R8 (rumored) and now this from BMW. This is why Frankfurt is the greatest auto show in the world IMO.
