![]() ![]() | Here it is. lightweight doors hood trunk plastic windows. Airco delete. The pic you see here is on 18 inch wheels. But i have 17 inch lightweight wheels on order. Moton suspension. I did a 1.53.6 on Zandvoort track. But we are aiming at 1.52 lows with a few changes we want to do. ![]() |

Camber is about 5 degrees front. ![]() Here a pic of the race on zandvoort. ![]() I try to make some pics of the inside. But it s orginal with race steeringwheel and seat and cage. |

![]() ![]() | I have raced E90 with v8 engine also. I can tell you the 130i which is lighter and more agile is more fun on track than the pure power houses. 300 hp and about 1100kg is perfect. Everybody is asking for a CSL but then you have 450hp car and also 1400kg it won t help. All you need is a light car with a high rev 6 cil atmo engine. Make it about 320hp and 1200kg for the road that wil give you more fun in driving than a csl with 450hp and 1400kg. I can t get why bmw ///M does not see this. The 1 series is the best base for a thru M car. Everything else in the line up is too heavy or to big to begin with. So if bmw does not make it the only way is to make it youre self. Bmw has now bmw GT4 that car weight is about 1360kg. It eats tires if there is no tommorow. On short tracks like zandvoort i can almost stick on a GT4 back end with my 130i racer. The power diff is very big. But i can brake much much later and my midbend corner speed is much higher. A GT4 bmw does on zandvoort 1.49 high quali time. But it falls back very fast because it overheats tires. And that s with 400hp. Just for the record a bmw WTCC with 280hp does a 1.48 on zandvoort. The key is weight. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | AdvEvo, thanks for posting. You're a great ambassador for the passion that underlines past and present BMW performance cars. It will be a shame to see the end of the naturally aspirated BMW straight six. But it's a distinct possibility I fear. Did you put a performance (free-flowing) or race exhaust on the car?
