Your hatred towards the X3 I can understand...that car looked old and cheap 5 years ago, though the facelift did make things look a bit better.

I still have faith things will be ok in SC.The X5 was up 1% or so last month.Not bad given the not to hot economy.I just hope BMW can skillfully manage the supply/demand equation in this crazy economy.No one wants the "build them and they will buy" deal w/ the Detroit Big 2.5 or whatever they are now.But squeeze to hard on the supply side and you piss people off because they can't get the car they want for a price they think is fair.As I've stated before.....and I'm a huge,huge BMW fan...so this is not a shot at BMW, but there is limit to what people will pay for a BMW.BMW is a volume,key word volume, luxury auto manufacturer.Not a semi custom/custom producer like Ferrari,Rolls Royce,Lambo,etc.BMW just needs to be careful in switching over to this pull vs push marketing they are talking about.You can limit supply and then bump up price until somebody screams uncle.I guess the magic in this is knowing where uncle screams.No matter your financial means right now ( just pick up any newspaper and read about how the "truly wealthy"-whatever that means.... are now really cutting back on luxury purchases) everyone is being very careful on prying open their wallet given the current economic storm we are experiencing right now. You would think a fair amount of BMW customers would fall into that demographic.Enough of my speech on how BMW should run their business. I'll be first in line for the X4....love that coupe look!!!! X3 was to test the market for small-ish premium SUVs, and so they asked Magna Steyr to to put the car together.

Now things have changed (economy/enviroment/€-$) and with the success of X3, F25 X3 will be build right next to its bigger brothers in a real BMW plant
