Interesting....The 26,251 number is straight off the BMW Manufacturing Website.Usually very accurate info.Where did you get the sales info broken down by country? Would be interesting,per your post and sales numbers, to see X6 sales broken down by country YTD. I'll see what I can find.Thanks! PalBay

That Surprises me about the X6. I don't see many around over here.

If what you guys are saying is true, BMW may very well build this car.... I personally don't know why they feel the need to compete with mercedes during a global economic meltdown by building a completely unnecessary cross over vehicle. Now is the wrong time to be throwing money at the luxury segment, especially right after the 7 series has come out.

If they do, I'm disappointed. Im disappointed that they build this car over 1tii or a CSL M3 or so many other cool cars that have been thrown in the garbage bin. Now we have an SUV coupe and a sedan coupe thing coming. Where is this company going?

Let the riots begin... there's going to be so much btching and moaning.

Although I don't like the thought that this beautiful car will never see the day, I personally understand. I'm standing right in the middle of the storm we are seeing aka the car industry meltdown and at this point, everything needs to be done to survive the rest of 2008 and 2009.
