I thought by your latest post that hte next 3er is going to look a bit like this too.

With each new model , each can get different shaped headlight lenses ,
That can either be razor thin or a few centimeteres higher , more sculputure in the front bumper and higher or lower height.
Each car will offer an unique design perspective with BMW's new LED Technology .

Another unique approach is just because a car is GT , X or Z , they do not have to be the same idea interpreted 3 different ways.
Z2 designed by an up and coming designer is just so intently beautiful , part of the Z family but no relation to the Z4 design wise , although there are some characteristics to identify the car is a Z.

This is a car along with it's in progress (but not yet green-lighted Coupe Twin ) that the BMW board are very excited about we were raving about it for hours afterwards . Of course there are many ideas to go with the Concept such as a 2.3 four cylinder turbo , BMW's eDrive , even talk of a turbo charged 1.6 as a base model.
The Coupe again almost exact to the Huckfeldt image is in a different state of progression with either the option of removable hardtop or similar in discussion with the MINI Speedster , two butresses on the rear forming the rollover protection with a clip on roof panel .
But things are still in a state of progress.

When I first seen this car , an exact interpretation of what Huckfeldt has created , I was expecting a smaller Z4 but when I seen this in the studio I begged please let it be this one and it was.

I just wanted to drive it.

So is the Z2 Roadster already green-lighted? When can we expect it?
What about the displacements for the turbo-engines you mentioned? There has been speculation about 1.3 and 1.4-litre engines, but not about a 1.6. 1.6 and turbo let's me think of MINI, but that one won't be used in a BMW?!
Will the possible MINI Speedster be based on the Z2 or on a MINI-platform? FWD? RWD?
