What is it you don't like about it? Personally I can't see anything bad about it.

Re: BMW unveiled "Concept CS" !

^ I think they are way too big-and i also i dont like how they cave back in towards the car. It kind of reminds me of CHarger and other domestics.

But, Other than that, i think its beatiful-especially that athletic shoulder line and the nicely shaped wheel arches and side skirt.. Its just an awesome looking machine-other than the grill of course.

Oh, yea and I like that very short green house from the side profile view-it looks stunning. Not sure I like how wide the window is in the front either. But if they toned this thing down to have more BMW trade mark designs I think it could be a hit-especially if they align right-that is above the CLS.

The reason I said this car is kind of retro, retro modern is also because the BMW grille has never been so big and streched since 507 of the 1950s/early 60s.

And that predated the Charger, but I do agree it's kind of Dodge like as I said it several times.

BMW seems like it merged the 507 grill with the FL e65 7er grille.

Re: BMW unveiled "Concept CS" !

Mind that big grille is a consequence of EU pedestrian protection law - requiring higher front ends on cars. Therefore also MB & Audi switched to bigger & more 3D grilles - to hide the height of the front end, and to get better front proportions. And BMW are doing the same: presenting bigger 3D grille.

Current kidney size would look funny on new EU-required front ends.

The influence of new Eu pedestrian protection law is obvious in this photo, the shape of the front end is very vertical. This was an important design clue of the early 90's Bimmers.
