I still think tha overall it doesn't look that good, but as I mentionned, there are some great design elements. What I like:

I have to say those ultra-HQ pics warmed me a bit up on the car. ![]() The kidney grille doesn't look so over-sized any more. Looks like I'm getting used to it. One thing I love about the car is its interior, it's absolutely to die for! |

Concept CS designers: Exterior: Karim Antoine Habib (the guy who designed E60 5er interior) Interior: Nadya Arnaout (senor Designworks designer; designed several consumer product items ) Interior details: Andre Franco-Luis (a young designer; just graduated in 2005) Is this the first time BMW interior layout & interior details are designed by different people? Haven't seen such strategy before. Usually chosen interior design proposal included not only general interior layout design (dash, central console etc) but also all the knobs, buttons, levers, latches, handles, etc. This time details are designed separately by different designer (focused on details only), while interior designer designs only the general interior layout. This new strategy makes me think we are going to see more attention-to-details in the future BMW vehicles - not only in Individual variants. I hope so. ![]() |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: BMW unveiled "Concept CS" ! The front is starting to look like a dodge charger and the rear favors the New Lexus GS. I mean its a great idea, especially since they got it from Benz ( ) and just made it longer. I would like to see it make it to production with a completely different front. Plus they should put it between the 5 and 7. NOT the 7 and Rolls Royce. That would completely devalue the 7 series as the Flagship. If they want to do an 8 series COUPE. Thats one thing, but not a coupe/sedan over the 7. |

So when Bangle talks about Futurism and contemporary architecture, it is generally in a very superficial context -- purely a stylistic influence -- the real revolutions happened long ago. | |
