A lot more there, I guess we can open up a new thread alr..
I think the car needs larger wheels

What a nice gift from Audi, all the LED work looks very excited and I love their interpretation of a four door coupe as this doesn't look like a CLS in shape. I just pray that some of the dramatic styling will make it to the production car as I fear that it might turn out to be very underwhelming.

That's a fair statement and grade! Compared with the other four door coupes like a Panamera, CLS, CS Concept, Karma and even the Passat CC this car doesn't break any boundaries in the design department. Take away the fancy bumpers, oversized rims and the LED circus and you're left with a slightly polished A6. Audi better has a surprise in store because even the interior looks underwhelming.

What can save the car is a sharp shoulder line like the one on the TT. Overall this is a very neat concept but nothing more than that as I can feel the wave of disappointment building up for the production car. It will be completely slaughtered when the new CLS arrived. Why have Audi become so lazy after the introduction of the R8??? The Q5 was a yawn and the same can be said for the A4 and up and coming A8.

Re: New Audi A7 Thread (Spy pics & info)

Mind this is a CONCEPT only.

The production car is far less dramatic - inside & outside.

Audi are good with their Concept cars ... unfortunately the production car do not reflect the adventurous spirits of the Concepts ... being much more conventional & sedative.

I wish they finally had balls to put Concept-like design on the road.

I really do like it!

The profile is great tail lights are great, head lights everything is!

I just hope Audi push the boat out and design it like the concept!

Hopefully they are felling brave so they will

I like it too, time for a new thread!!! With this coming to production though, there is no need for an A5 "sportback" IMO.

Oh I didn't notice that. So the A5 Sportback and A7 are the same thing?

Pretty much A7 four door coupe = A7 sportback. Not to look like copy-cats Audi have decided to distinguish themselves by adding a new name to the basket of acronyms and body styles, sportback instead of using the over exposed four door coupe definition.

So this is essentially the sportback auto blogs have been talking about, though might be an A5 shooting brake on the pipe line.
