Yeah, i know it's a concept, but we also know that Audi doesn't change the production car too much from concepts... Why i've said X3? Nice interior and nice rear, but the front is a disaster! I'm sorry, but that's how i feel. Plus, it has some weird lines in the 1st pic; i' getting the feeling if you remove the c-pillars and rear windshield you'd get a nice pick-up.  Anyhow, it's too early, that's why i say my 1st impression, let's wait for more pics...

| Re: Official: Audi Cross Coupe Quattro Concept Revealed  This looks very much like shrinked-yet-bloated Roadjet, or like A4 Sportback Allroad - as you wish.  But since it is smaller: LxWxH = 4.38m x 1.82m x 1.60m; wheelbase: 2.60m (slightly larger than A3 Sportback) it could be A3 Sportback Allroad. Or like Audi will probably call it: Q3, or Q4. Based on upcoming Mk3 A3, also using Hladex instead of Torsen for Quattro. VW's concept A, or even 2000 Audi Steppenwolf were much more interesting (and prettier) Sport Activity Coupe design studies.  This cross coupe looks very weird from profile. |

But after seeing how coupe-like this car (Q5) is, I really don't see Audi developing a Q6 SAC? Unless it's a 2-door, 2+2. More sloping roofline and there goes the headroom for the rear passengers... I agree with TycoonGTR, the rear is gorgeous but the front could really use an improvement! |
