Singer James Brown, known as the "Godfather of Soul", has died at the age of 73, his agent has said. Wow..right on Christmas...  I was never a fan of James Brown, but nonetheless a great legend has passed away. R.I.P James. |

I read that a while ago. It's pretty bad news. He is an icon and a legend, and will be remembered as a grat artist.  |

I have some of his songs. He really was a talented singer and innovative, IMO. 73 is a good age to go though. RIP James Brown. |

this is very sad.. amazing artist..and an inspiration for many ground breaking artists today.... RIP J.Brown |
