Lamborghini wrecked in smash
This is the £190,000 Lamborghini wrecked in a dramatic five-vehicle pile in the Black Country.
The Lamborghini Murcielago was involved in a smash with three other cars and a bus, which left two women requiring hospital treatment.
The roads around Heath Town in Wolverhampton ground to a halt as the operation to treat the casualties and clear the wreckage took place yesterday afternoon.Three cars - a Lamborghini, a Rover 45 and a Toyota Avensis - were badly damaged with the injured women thought to have been travelling in the two latter vehicles.
A Citroen Zafira was also involved in the pile-up. Ambulance service spokesman Murray McGregor said: “The women were taken to New Cross Hospital with neck braces and placed on spinal boards as a precaution but are not thought to have been seriously hurt. No one on the bus was injured.”
Sgt Paul Richards, of Wednesfield road policing unit, appealed for witnesses to call West Midlands Police on 0845 113 5000.
The collision was one of a number of accidents across the area today.
