...and will be called "Gear"  Stupid name aside, whatcha think? I KNOW we have to have a plethora of Top Gear fans! Personally I'm not convinced that this will go over that well, what with our lawsuits/political correctness/advertising revenue nightmare. Won't be anything close to Top Gear UK. And I bet the show will be on either GM or Ford payroll, you know how those guys are. |

Hell I'm excited because all we have now is Motorweek and Top Gear re-runs from a year ago! Car and Driver, MotorTrend and all others have all gone belly up. M |

Or all those Stig jokes? It'll be lame and pathetic.... Top Gear isn't good because of its format (which of course can be easily transferred), it's good because of its charasmatic - and unique - presenters. | |

Although I wouldn't be surprised if this is a flop, you could say I'm very cautiously optimistic. The only host I know of is Adam Corolla, no clue who the other chumps are going to be. Adam is quite the gearhead truth be told, I just hope he doesn't turn out to be annoying. |

NBC announced the show as a pilot in the winter, but the project has not yet been added to the network's year-round schedule, which was unveiled in May.
