The plot is too me genious and telled in an also genious way. And how often is there a good movie made about two magicians?
Just take the time to watch it. If you like stories where everything isn't served to you at once and where you really have to put your mind into the movie to figure everything out, you'll love this movie! I sure did.
I haven't gotton a chance to see this but I really want to. I'm a big Christian Bale fan and his movies are always good, plus Hugh Jackman is pretty cool as well and of course, Scarlett is just hot!
So true. Since Batman Begins I've become a real Bale fan too. And this movie is also directed by Christopher Nolan who also directed Batman Begins. His directing style, the story plus the cast reall adds up to the awsomenes of this movie.

And yeah, Scarlett is hot
Nah man, Batman wasn't the begining for me though...it was American Psycho. After watching that movie I thought Bale was the Sh!t and then Equilibrium came out that was the final blow and I became a Bale fan. Plus he was great in Shaft and Empire of the Sun.
Spoiler
Yes he died. You know when Tesla tried the machine and evertime he did the hat didn't move, but duplicated? The same thing happened to himself. He copied himself every time he did the trick so that his copy ended up far away while he killed himself. And in the end, Angier saw Borden go backstage and decided to frame Borden for the murder by skipping the prestige and not showing up. Letting everyone belive he did die. But his copy was still alive.
You realise everything and notice all the clever details the second time you watch it.
Here's the trailer for you who haven't seen it.
