400bhp sounds nice, but I agree, it can't be too expensive, no one will buy it if that's the case!

I think the V8 is too expensive as it is!

From the pictures I love the design, looks so much more rounded than the old S80, and looks fresh and model! Do you think they will make an R model?

I can't believe you'd take a Citroen, and more so, the C6, over this Volvo! But, each to his own

I would take the American spec Honda Accord over the C6. Or even a Nissan Maxima.. but that's O/T, so I'll let it go..

As for a performance S80, they might as well do it. It shouldn't take them a lot to develop it, since they're probably not so concerned with honing the chassis and dynamics so much as making sure it's powerful and refined enough. Dynamics will probably only need to be satisfactory, IMO. There are always some of the Volvo faithful who are wealthy enough to want a bit more.

The C6 is just so great to cruise in. Did you see the TG episode where they tested the new C6? I'd just love to sleep in the backseat. And the interior isn't that bad. Backing up everything is an exterior you wouldn't see anywhere else in the world... This car reminds me of the Phaeton of the 5/A6/E luxury segment. I have eccentric tastes.

I would definitely like a performance S80.
