Re: 2010 Range Rover or 2010 Porsche Cayenne

Makes sense. So I should jus tgo ahead and get the GTS then? I surely don`t liek the Design of the X65.0. I like the front and the side angle when looking at the front but the back is just too sloopy. I would choice the X5 with the same engine anyday. The GTS is a hot SAV, I just don`t want to have it for a year and then another new model comes out by Porsche or Range Rover that I regret as I am not ready to buy until October or November. At least by that time there will be there new PCM touch screen navigation.

I agree that the situation is a bit tricky. Especially when there are two new models just around the corner. If you buy in October/November then you will be a within 12 months away from a facelifted RR sport. But in the end life is short, the GTS is the fantastic SUV and the engine performance and sound is phenomenal.

Indeed it is. I just hope that the 5.0 engine doesn`t come out in 09 as an 2010 model for the RRS. I guess as the time gets closer and more info comes out I will figure out what is best or if to wait. Thnaks though.

If you're hungry for 500 horses there is always the Cayenne Turbo but it doesn't have the race inspired sound and characteristic of the tuned V8 under the hood of the GTS.

Hey! Take a MB G55 AMG, or G500+AMG kit, it won't be facelifted before 2030...
No risk to be outdated with that eternal beast!! And this is the coolest SUV ever!

Sorry man. Don`t like it. It looks like a box and I think it's ugly but to each is own. I'd take the range rover or cayenne over the G anyway.

Re: 2010 Range Rover or 2010 Porsche Cayenne

No prob...The G is indeed not everyone's taste.

Despite the Cayenne's evident technical superiority, and reliability, I think I would pick the RR Sport here. It looks gorgeous I find. Less from the interior, but you can't have everything...

It's for me the second best looking suv on the market (the first is the Mercedes G55, the third is the Infiniti FX45... I haven't seen the X6 yet but it could take the third place). The Cayenne is first too in my list, but from the bottom. Even if the GTS is way better it still is not my taste at all.

Don't you want ML/X5/Q7? Too "common" maybe. The X6 will have some success too, but will never be as common as the X5 (cramped at the rear), and sure won't be facelifted untill 3 years at least!

Give a try - Range Rover 5.0 supercharged

Range Rover 5.0 supercharged with 500Hp will be a beast with class on the road and off road.

I would rather to get a GT2 instead of Cayenne.

I would never take my GT2 off road

Therefore

buy one GT2 and one Range Rover 5.0, then a Bell Helicopter
