The winner is: Aston Martin DB9 Volante


The Aston Martin DB9 Volante has been voted European Gay Car of the Year 2006 by the French website Ledorga. All new cars launched in the previous twelve months were eligible and visitors to the website had one month in which to cast their vote. As the website states "to be tanning this summer in style, gay and fashionable (and quite expensive nevertheless), you definitively need an Aston Martin DB9".

I have to say that's a very odd list indeed... the only one that really belongs there is the Micra. Of course, even the DB9 only received 143 votes so it hardly represents the opinion of the greater public and only the (apparently) gay people that go to that website.
