The footage has been released on a bootleg DVD called Stu-Pid Riding, and police are investigating it. Although police state the evidence is insufficient for prosecution, they believe they know who the rider and driver are. The DVD features a speed camera being set alight- with the bikers watching as it burns, a 130 mph stand up wheelie, and plenty of near misses. The footage has been shot from cameras mounted on both the car and bike and show the speedo at all times. The 80 minute film includes a section on the A423, in which the pair of drivers cover 12.3 miles in 5 minutes and 20 seconds, giving an average speed of 139mph. From the blurred pictures we have seen, it doesn't even look like they could be bothered to blank out their number plates. ![]() ![]() |
