Now you know it sells elsewhere too. They totally ruined it with a facelift though. I'll tell you what they did to the car: higher ride height (trying to turn it into a SUV/MPV hybrid), 'sports' kit and 'sports' rims which totally makes it look like a failure at being both a SUV and a MPV! Absolutely disappointing... I like the Grandis stock, as it is.



Honda also had a 'pimping' of their Odyssey. These trends are Singaporean-only I think.

Back to the Mitsu, yes it looks both like an Alfa and a IS from the back.

I agree with you... the Evo X concepts really set the cat among the pigeons but somehow we've a typical situation of lost in translation. The realisation of the concepts' aggressive proportions has not taken place in the production car (albeit a lowly Lancer and not still-to-be-juiced-up Evolution) and as so many have pointed out, the DLO is too conventional. I'd prefer to see a higher beltline and a shallower DLO.

Hey what happened to all that slinky LED lighting that I seem to recall? Reserved hopefully for EVO X...?

...oh and lose that dreadful flappy looking tail spoiler. Gross.

OMG, those fender flare type wheelarches don't look good at all on the Grandis. You're right, the side profile is kind of ruined. The front looks ok to me, though I prefer the original one. Thanks.

I just saw the car @ the Monteal autoshow and it blew my mind.

First off it looks good, much better than in the pics. But that was not what impressed me... it was the price. A nicely decked up version with nice 17" rims with Dunlop performance tyres (same that used to be on my 325Ci w/sport pkg) among other bells and whistles was priced below cars like the Jetta (which looks lame next to the Lancer).
