![]() | Re: Mitsubishi at 39th Tokyo Motor Show - WCF Yeah, checked out these pics at WCF just a bit ago. Interesting.. It doesn't look so modern to me as much as art deco - something from the 20s maybe. All the geometric shapes and the aeas with lots of lines in bold forms.. and brushed metal and black materials (likely plastic). A striking look, for sure, and although I'm not that keen, I'm glad that a mainstream (admittedly this is a concept for the performance version) compact Japanese car could potentially have something more than a beancounter regulated plastic interior. |

Whole interior could use a make over... i know they are trying to keep it plain and simple for weight issues, but c'mon, thats just out right bland and nasty.

With the next generation Subaru's looking like clowns, Mitsubishi might be able to get some "respect" which they IMO deserve. Now please restyle the UGLYASS Galant! ![]()

It have more och less looked the same for about 10 years now. I hope the production model won't be too stripped down and please make us an interior that deserves to be touched. |

![]() | Re: Mitsubishi at 39th Tokyo Motor Show - WCF If you mean the American Galant, Mitsubishi Australia were looking for a replacement for our ageing local large car, the Magna, and modified the Galant. IMO it looks much better. ![]() ![]() http://www.worldcarfans.com/news.cfm/newsid/2051010.004 Still, the smaller and sleeker Japanese/European(?) Galant was even better looking. But this Lancer in disguise should be about the same size. I hope they also make more affordable versions for everyone else as well. I'm just hoping they don't water down the design too much to cut costs. |
