| MINI celebrates five years -

The MINI brand this week will celebrate its fifth birthday after being revived by BMW. Sales of the 'new MINI' began on July 7th, 2001. Since its launch, the company has sold over 800,000 units worldwide. Its largest markets, in order, are: Britain, the U.S., and Germany. Later this month, MINI will again show a new concept car that previews the soon-to-be-unveiled next-generation model. Based on the MINI Traveller concept, the "MINI Concept London" will debut at the British motor show in late July. |
