With respect to the (necessity) of downforce at high speeds, I am of the opinion that speeding in any AMG, or BMW M car for that matter, at such great speeds, may feel much more safer to the ordinary joe than the jittering and rattling feel of a Ferrari 430 or Porsche 997 GT3. I realise purer sportscars may be 'glued to the road' but one also needs civility, composure and solidity to drive the car at such speeds. | |
