No, I don`t. Fact is I have never seen a car mag test the E55 and CLS55 together. That would be like comparing a brother and sister. You know the parents wouldn`t like that.

I`d like to see that to. CLS55 would probably win cause it`s newer and has better dynamics. This is the first AMG model thats really serious about it`s performance, other AMG models will improve like the CLS55.

I am sure they will but if MB doesn't develop a SMG, DSG, like system I highly doubt that their cars will perform like the Audi's or BMW's. Nevertheless, wait one minute! I don't think it is MB's goal to make a sports sedan but something more along the lings of a luxury sedan. | |

| Re: Excellent driving with a E55 AMG True, thay are luxury cars first. I don`t think MB has something like SMG in the wings for the AMG models. Thay already modified the G7 which shifts 35 to 40% faster than the already excellent G7. That should work wonders for the 515hp upcoming E63 and CLS63 models, and these models will have paddle shifters like the S65. Something MB owners will like.

| Re: Excellent driving with a E55 AMG Remember the interview with the AMG boss. AMG is developing a DSG but it will take some time before the development is finished and producton ready for the cars.
