  | ***What's new at Mercedes Munich?*** Nothing much. Went there today in the hopes that they had the new W212 E-Class. They didn't (but I later saw one in traffic speeding directly past me [see spotted today thread for details]) but they had this: SL65 AMG         ML63 AMG  MB C63 AMG, CL65 AMG, S65 AMG, C63 AMG    Random shot... | Stopped by the local dealer today. Saw a GLK350, SL550, ML63, CL550. Oh and turned in the E class! Its gone forever. Turned it in with 27,020 miles (allowed 27,026) and it even had about a gallon of gas in the tank  |

| A little note I found on the 722 S Roadster: Mercedes-Benz has just announced the launch date for the 722s. If you are one of the lucky receiptiants, only 25 of you are in the USA, then you should be excited for a February 20th launch date. Only 150 vehicles are being produced for the world. They were all offered to previous SLR owners via mail last year. If one is to be found on the showroom floor you should expect to see a $545,000 MSRP plus a $2750 Dealer Destination fee. This is the last of the SLR’s to be produced. What’s next? I guess we will have to wait and see. SLR McLaren 722s Edition | mybenzguy.com M

What I always enjoy are the themes they sometimes display. With the new E-Class coming up soon, I suspect they will have a little "E-Class Exhibition" on display from the beginnings to the W212 (just like at the MB Museum). I was hoping this would be the case when I got there yesterday but I suppose the time will be soon - and I'll be there!
