AMG ends power wars my butt!

Look at the SLR SM and the SL65 BS,the only PRODUCTION car more powerful is the Veyron,and still to come the all new TT V8 debuting with next gen SL

I think they are just expanding the engine range with more cleaner,hybrid and diesel ones but the mega torque petrol ones are still gonna be there.This is MB we are talking about

It makes sense that it isn't shown to the public because it won't be released in the US till summer. They can't show it now and then sell it 6-7 months from now, they want to get rid of the current Es.

Yes they peak with the SL65 BS adn SLR SM and then it is done. Not saying AMG cars wont have 500+ HP, he is just saying they are not aiming for 800+

True but we'll still see 500+ and 600+ coming from the new engines so basically the power hasn't decreased at all but it's just gonna be more clean and efficient

Power war isn't over, every AMG model has a lifespan of around 6 years and the E63 engine has barely been around for three years. 3 more to go until the next power upgrade.

Yes they will still have HP numbers similar to what is out now, they just wont increase all that much. They wont go down that much either.
