i am glad we dont habe a dealership like this in sa,,,because if we did i probably stay their ...it is amazing like a mall full of cars

its like you in dream land here in sa i dont think we even have a dealership that will have more then 15 new cars on their floor and definately not somany amgs

I think you were in the "Museum Dealership". It's basically at the bottom of the MB Museum.

I so want that red SL350 by the way! Now I wish I had some serious cash in my wallet!

To be honest, I don't know much about how they allow you into the Maybach/SLR section. I would assume there has to be some sort of prior contact with the dealership so that they can check your credentials (aka "that you can pay for these cars"). Or if you're someone famous I guess you could just show up and they'll let you in no questions asked.

This dealership is indeed owned by Mercedes-Benz. Basically you have two types of dealerships in Germany.

A car company owned dealership is a Niederlassung (literal translation: "dealership") while an independent dealership that orders the cars from the manufacturer and sells them to the consumer is a Vertreter (which literally translates into "someone who represents someone else".
