Veyron is not something holy you know. It's made by VW engineers and a sh!tload of money.

It is something holy if you ask me. I don't think you realize how much engineering went into that car. 4 turbos?! Geez. What I realize is that the Veyron broke down a barrier that hasn't been broken since the McLaren F1 imo.

Also, 5 years is a decent time, but not as long as you think. When companies release a car, a few months afterwards, they are already back on the drawing boards.

Well actually in the States, they have ///M school which I heard is a hell of an experience. Not only do you get to pick up your car from Spartanburg, you also learn how various ///M cars drive.

I think it's either high 3 figures to low 4 figures, don't remember. Hell, if you are going to buy a $70,000 car, might as well pitch in a bit more for some good fun.

I think they are more or less referring to AMG models... The V12's are something that aren't important enough to BMW and Audi at this point in time. However, twin turbo I6's, V8's, V10's definitely are.

Well Nissan did shock the industry! The GT-R really took Ferrari and Lambo by suprise. Not to mention it's a car that produces the same numbers, but cost 5 times less.

Yes, what is up with this V10 interest. Never figured out why BMW went that route anyway for the M5. The V8 was enough. A car that small doesn't need a V10. The E63 simply proves that. More weight any way.

When it's all said and done, these individual companies will do what they want. Who are we to judge? We can comment on it, but it doesn't mean the industry will change.
