German Car Zone

Took our Merc for servicing today.. still haven't got it back yet. I was a bit excited because the CL is finally in the showroom. I took a few photos of the CL, and this bronz coloured E-class. They dont' have any AMG models on display though, probably all sold out.

Sorry about the poor lighting. The showroom is actually bright, but my camera is crap, plus there is a limited amount of space to move my fat arse around, so i cannot get the good angles. I will probably put these photos in the CL photo thread, E-class photo thread later.












The colour of this E-class looks brighter in real life, it is kind of attractive.

It's funny how the E class has started to look like a Classic Mercedes all of a sudden (the black one looks great) -- the new model is going to look very different I think.

It amazes me how better looking E-class and S-class is than the CL

After looking at the CL and the S class, the E-class does look like a classic Mercedes. 5 years has passed since it was launched, and the car doesn't look dated at all, well at least in Avantgarde and Sports trim. The E-class has lost a little of its elegence after the face-lift, but IMO is still the best looking mid size luxury sedan around.

I thought the CL will look big in real life, but it doesn't look like 5 meter long in the showroom. Maybe because it is sitting by itself inside the showroom. Too bad it was locked so i can't take some photos if the interior. It is black with matt wood trim, it looks absolutely sensational.
