Yeah roadsters like the Z4 and SLK are pretty small if you are a big dude. I once sat in a Audi TT and it felt like sitting inside a casket.

I'm six feet tall and I fit in the SLK with headroom to spare, and when the roof is down, my head is nowhere near the top of the windscreen!

I'd take the SL55 if I wanted a good crusing/long distance car with all the gadgets, but since I'd prefer to drive hard, I'll take the SLK thank you very much

Well, I have to go for the SL55.

The SLK55 is a mean looking car, but it still looks too toy-ish and cute. It's like a chihuahua with an attitude, so not exactly to my liking.

On to the SL55. Besides the CL55/65, this has to be my favourite Benz. The car is just gorgeous when you see it cruise by, and the interior is one of the best in the business!

I would choose the SL over the SLK with the different engine, because there is such a huge gap in performance, but the SLK 55 isn't much slower than the SL 55, and half the price! Also, it looks as good and is a newer car!

I picked SL. However, I find the SLK to be a very attractive, aggressive car that has some cute elements to it. It is probably a better track car/driver's car with the 6-Speed and the lighter weight.

Overall I think the SL looks better to me, and suits my style of driving, I'm not going to the track, I drive around the city and highways with gentle turns and straight aways, razor-sharp handling are not a requirement for a car imo, more power and comfort are a higher priority in my realistic driving scenarios.

With that the SL excels, top up or top down its one of my favorite MB's ever. Looks, power, luxury and style. I can't wait for the new 6.2L NA AMG engine!!

SLK55 is half the price of SL55? I didn't knew that! So the question in the poll should be "2 SLK55 AMG or 1 SL55?".

The SLK is like a car you drive out 3AM at night to drink coffee at Starbucks.

The SL is the car you drive all night to get good coffee.
