Yeah, that's exactly the same thing. Both our family cars, Seat Αrosa and Seat Alhambra have exactly the same feature. If you turn on the indicator while the engine is turned off, the head and rear lights will illuminate. Mind that our cars are 10 years old, so I guess that every VAG model has that feature, at least since 1997.
