Well, sales looks to be stabilising in the world, but i wonder if its in a good way or not

These are US sales figures only!

Eg. RR also sold less cars in US this year, but the total sales worldwide increased.

But nevertheless: RR outsold Maybach almost by 2:1. Ouch.

They wanted to sell 600 cars each year in the States, 1000 in the world;

I think they sold a bit more than 1000 cars, but since the launch (not sure of that though) ...

RR sells a lot more, that can't be denyed. It is so obvious that Benz does not dare to publish the numbers... Too bad, the car is very good. Just not really beautiful, lacking self-estime and wow-factor, and looking like a big fat S-Class...

Concerning the base, yeah, based on the W140 base, a car that was launched in 1991; because it can wear the insane weight of the Maybach, whereas the W220 base could not... It is nevertheless the best handling and moqst comfortable limo in the world!!!

Wow, I'm shocked that they'd even be close to the same number from last year. That means this car still has some life left in the market. When I saw the title of this thread I just knew the numbers inside would be like 20 or 30 YTD for the U.S. I bet most of what has been sold has been the 57S model.

Bentley and Maserati's numbers are great, especially Bentley's considering the prices they're charging.

MB is out selling VW, gasp. That isn't supposed to be.

I can't understand why Isuzu hasn't left the U.S. market yet. All they sell now are re-badged GM trucks.

Mercedes and BMW sell more in one month than Jaguar has ytd. Almost double in BMW's case. Yikes.

How nice; in one day we read about Maybach's flop and this about RR:
