Maybach 62 S Unveiled

I like this car a lot ....but I still wonder if it is the right strategy for this market segment.

Rolls-Royce owners and potential buyers have expressed no desire for more powerful engines. In fact, the 100EX concept first shown in 2004 had a 9.0-liter V-16 -- but Rolls-Royce customers said they didn't require anything bigger than the Phantom's 6.8-liter V-12 -- so the Phantom DHC has the standard engine (and a shorter hood than the 100EX concept).

This market wants style and prestige ....they really don't care if their limousine is not as fast as a Ferrari.

This is true. If there is another Maybach they need a stunning, but unique look to go along with all the build quality, technology and performance.
