| Re: ML63: Pre FL vs FL It should be common knowledge by now that Mercedes has never designed a traditional "AMG Face" for the ML. If anyone has been observing - and I know you all have -, it should be expected that the ML will always have a unique design for its AMG Package. -The face at least. Looking at the 2 front images on page one, the two chrome strips were just preparing us for this new look. Who knows what's to come next, but it will definitely be nothing like we expect and we get to opine all over again.  As you can see clearly here, the black strip where the license plate is has traditionally been 'body-colored', but the SL63 begins a new tradition of making it platinum/black. That's the only thing giving it a singular look.  The 'SL65 Version' If you will .... Body-colored. And we may well see this version. Who knows

| Re: ML63: Pre FL vs FL The front does look kind of odd, but the nagai nso did the fl mercedes sl and in real life it looked amazing. Plus no one took a good shot of the side of the car. the wheels and the body work loooook aaaaammmaaazing :  |

| Re: ML63: Pre FL vs FL The real issue I have with the FL front end is that the grill in the bumper is just as big as the main grill, it just doesn't look right. Does AMG designers want us to focus on the main grill or the lower grill?

What merc1 said... After a masterstroke in facelifting the SL AMGs, Merc have gone and buggered up a perfectly fine ML63. Side profile as bum-man said is fabulous but the new front facia is just a little too overbearing. Maybe it will look better in the flesh...
