IS-F just doesn't seem to fit in properly IMO. Also, knowing Lexus, their performance brand will not compete with BMW M, but Mercedes-Benz AMG. I can't picture Lexus offering a manual transmission in these IS-F cars, simply because the generic Lexus customer is similar to the generic Mercedes customer. They both place emphasis on comfort and ride first, then sport. ![]()

I will be suprised if Lexus actually stuff a 5L engine under the hood of the IS-fast, I was expecting something smaller like a 4.6L engine. Hopefully the cars won't be called Fast becasue that is so darn uncreative.

It will just be "F". So for the IS = IS-FFor the GS it'll be GS-F Eitherway i agree, the new performance division won't be created to compete with BMW, but more with Mercedes-Benz. ![]()

No offense, but that still sounds a little "lame". I mean "F" for "Fast"? Not very creative IMO. How about SPR? An abbreviation for SUPRA. ![]()

The way the name of the tuner is spoken adds a great deal of emotion to the cars, so I think. M, RS and AMG all sound cool in their own way. I'm just not feeling it with "F". SPR on the other hand (yeah, because I came up with it! )...
