The front 3/4 view is horrendous, so is the huge ass. It does sorta look nice with the roof down, but overall a disaster. I bet that the body flex is unbearable.

Look at the picture in the back when the night lights light up, reminds me of an E92. Failed attempt....

This is a perfect example of how to create a car that is so unproportioned it even hurts. It's a shame they created this, who ever decided this looked good enough to produce must be on some serious stuff or has been for a couple of hours.

Although not perfect or fully gorgeous BMW have made the best effort of making an somewhat acceptable four seater with a metal folding roof.

It was a hard fight by designers to convince engineers to make a suitable solution - to save the horizontal & flat rear proposed by design dpt. Engineers had to do it in the end since the designers were beacked up by the board of directors who insisted on low rear appearence.

I seen the car today and the rear is every mistake BMW did not make.
It does not look elegant nor stylish it is more akin to what mainstream manufacturers design their hardtop cabrios with their bulky rear quarter and raised rear window line.

I think first of all they should have done a Coupe and worked from there.
I am sure if they had done so they would have a better understanding of packaging the design to suit the car.

Looks like Lexus is not good on cars with top down, Sc was a big step-back & now this... ...!
