Apparently Audi's ownership of Lamborghini is ammo for Ferrari owners

I think it's an absolutely pathetic argument really. Especially when alot of Ferraris used Fiat & Lancia parts! The way I see it, when it comes to build quality, there's no better company to take the reigns for Lamborghini than Audi. Exotics will never be problem free (as with all cars in general), but when you ask around and listen to Lambo owners of both pre and post-Audi eras, they all say the exact same thing; overall quality has skyrocketed. Lambo is still Italian anyhow, regardless of who keeps the corporate coffers full. But whatever, I just thought I'd bring this to light.

Re: Apparently Audi's ownership of Lamborghini is ammo for Ferrari owners

It is ironic that Ferrari fans would be so rude about Audi ....although I honestly do believe some of the Italian spirit has been lost since the Germans got involved with Lamborghini; the quality is undoubtedly superior ..but the cars just don't seem as utterly impractical or outrageous as they used to. One might even go as far as to say they are at serious risk of becoming slightly rational.

However, the comment that really amazed me in that link was the guy who said Jaguars build quality was "Far above that of Mercedes & BMW"

....he must be clinically insane.

Jaguars are just rebadged Fords, everyone knows that, and Ferraris are just upmarket FIATs.

Re: Apparently Audi's ownership of Lamborghini is ammo for Ferrari owners

Ferrari owners a bunch of egotistic twats who dont have a real passion for motorsports, as otherwise they wouldnt be driving a ferrari. Porsche and zonda crap all over ferrari's these days apart from the Enzo.

Plus lamborghinis history has never been to be the best supercar or to compete with ferrari at all, and audi seems to be sticking with that. Simple really.

And of course, I never hear the F-fags comment on Aston Martin or Land Rover either. Poor Jaguar!
