Normally, front drivers have the calipers placed at the 9 o'clock position on the front discs. Here they're at the 10 or even 11 o'clock position. I like. |
To begin with, i don't like the look of the Civic Type-R at all. It looks very small and futuristic to me, like it comes from some kind of comics. I just don't like it.
As for the price, i guess so far noone knows, but i think it will be in the close range of the GTI. On the other hand, i think the buyers of a GTI are completely different from those who purchase a Type-R, mainly in terms of taste (Type-R: Very ricy look) and i think in terms of age, too!
BTW, Martin, does the position of the calipers affect the braking abilities of a car? I think i have seen some cars with this kind of position of their brake calipers, but i am not 100% sure...
