Yep, the S3 Sportback is also great! I thought since this comparison is between two cars with around 300hp, the Focus RS would be more appropriate.

Consistent with most tests so far, the Evo X is faster track car than the new STi.

I almost bought a Evo X as a fun/track car that can also be an excellent winter car with AWD.....but I was tempted away by the 135i.

Surprising to note that Sport Auto got a laptime of 1:17,4 around Hockenheim for the 135i, which is a touch faster than the Evo X's time of 1:17,8.

Of course, there could have been different drivers which may make the results not comparable.
