Review: 2008 Jaguar XJ Super V8

Heads of state, top-level business executives and the independently wealthy are the typical purchasers of limousines such as the Jaguar XJ Super V8, the BMW 7-series and the Mercedes S-Class, and they heavily favor the German offerings if sales figures are any indication. But just being rich and powerful doesn’t make them right. Certainly, the BMW and Mercedes sedans offer impressive features, capable platforms and what many consider attractive styling. But they lack what the Jaguar has in spades - character.

Oh god yes, anything looks better than the Flying Brick.

This is still a favorite of mine also, I love the classic look of this car and would love to have one.

Noname13 is on a distinguished road
I know I am replying to a 6-month old post but the '08 redesign turned out really bad for the XJ. Those atrocious side power vents, that industrial air intake on the front bumper - totally wrong for the Jag's classic look. They should have done a hands-free entry/keyless start and a new voice-controlled Nav and standard iPod integration (isn't it about time every car made should have it?) instead.
