I agree with ALI, car mags should be fair to everyone and test all the cars in the mode in which they can get the best from a car! Thanks for explaining the things with shifting Ali! At the end, car magazines are not the best source of informations and true characteristics of the car (with exception of EVO, SportAuto and some others) and we shouldn't believe everything.

I think this test was a anomaly. Its obvious that the E63 is the best car out of the 3 vehicles for everyday use, whilst the SMG M5 is probably the worst.

BMW and Mercedes won't have any chance...

But maybe the RS6 is to sporty and the Mercedes and BMW fare better because they are better in everyday life!

Im getting tired of it, why cant you guys just appreciate your rides and enjoy them. Winning or loosing in race buy a new car if you dont like it. There will always be someone faster than you.
I dont care what a carmag think or any other person for that matter. I buy the car for me only without thinking what others think about the car.

Now Im looking at the speed numbers and saying to myself, how in the world does Car&Driver have like 0.3second better for the M5 (smg) vs. E63! in the higher speeds

With MoterTrend, these numbers are so close, thay are less (than a blink of eye) apart from to each other. Which is literally nothing the brag about.

It` going to be interesting to see the results of Road&Track which is my favorite American car magazine.

A much cheaper and less powerful audi can keep up with the more expensive and more powerful BMW.

All whilst the audi having a much better inteior and weighing more, and also being a better everyday driver (M5 has jerky gearbox for town driving)

With the new E AMG and S6 out its revealing the flaws that the M5 which was once undisputed king has.
