Its pretty interesting to see these cars back to back. Of course the F-430 would be my choice however if the R8 had a more powerful engine i might change myu mind but the Ferrari is RWD, which is another bonus when it comes to fun.

feels like a quick comparison, no other numbers than 0-100 (and probably factory times). o-160 and 0-200km/h would be fun to know

I didn't see the F430 as its main competitor but now it doesn't seem too far off.

If offered the choice between the two vehicles i would also take the F430, however having that i would rather have the R8 and i prefer it's exterior.

just what i expected: The ferrari has all the fun, see it has better performance numbers, but the Audi has better "ride quality" since it has better traction, grip and handling.
