I do have knacking for the MC12, but in all honestly Maserati's attempt at rebuilding the Enzo was a little weak. Especially considering the MC12 is more expensive than the Enzo you get steel brakes rather than the Enzo's ceramic units and of course the MC12's suspension dampers are conventional rather than the Enzo's adaptive versions. Those are of course a few of the downfalls, then of course, there is the performance which is greatly affected by the extra weight. The MC12 weighs 119kg more than Enzo and as a result the 0-200 km/h time is slower. However even with all of those problems, there is just something i am drawn to and even i'm not a Maserati purist

Mind you, you can't blame Maserati engineers for the MC12's shortcomings - most of the disadvantages of the MC12 were forced upon by Ferrari, Maserati's owner at the time, in order for the car to not step on the toes of Ferrari's Enzo.

Actually the exlusivity of the MC12 isn't really what intrigues me. Strangely enough the exterior interests me. It's got some huge dimensions but i like a number of the details and i love two tone paint jobs.

Yeah that's true, i shouldn't put full blame on Maserati. It's just a shame the MC12 uses more conventional parts than the Enzo, but as you said, Maserati was not to step on Ferrari's toes. Shame

Re: Which Exotic?

ive never been a huge fan of these uber super cars however if i were to pick one i would choose the pagani because i drool and dream about it (must be in Carbon Fiber exterior color) it just to beautiful to get anything else however i would probably choose the zonda F roadster to hear that bad boy AMG engine roar.

in the end though, even if i had all the money in the world, i would never buy one of thse cars, way too showy, id rather save half a million and get myself a gt3 or 911 turbo..word.

No, not anymore. I believe Fiat bought Maserati back from Ferrari (even though Fiat owns a share of Ferrari - confusing, I know) after the MC12 was produced and now are grouped with Alfa Romeo.
