Nobody seriously compares a R8 and a CL before they make the decision to buy a R8.

I know, I said it before, noone choose between a R8 or CL because they are very different.
But you said noone cares but there are people like us spending time on internet who cares. So you werent 100% correct when you say nobody cares

I also care, I wasn't saying these car's are after the same market when I created this thread, but both these vehicles are fairly close in cost! I do believe both these vehicles are rather exclusive, which is what my opinion was based on.

CL63

I prefer sporty cars but I simply can't ignore the beauty of the CL63. The interior and exterior is spectacular and there's no other luxury car like it. It is hot and will still be a very beautiful car in 20-40 years. Unlike the R8 which will slowly fade away as the years passes by. More over the R8 doesn't have the power to meet to attention whore exterior looks.

CL63 all the way. It is one of the 3 most beautiful coupes money can buy.

Great post Luwalira, I agree. The R8 is going to age pretty quickly!
unlike the Lamborghini and Ferrari designs the R8 simply doesn`t cut the butter with the "old-world" Italian designs that always stand the test of time.

That aside give me the CL63, your bound to get the attention in this cup of butter, more than you hope in a German car!






Btw dudes,who else believes this thread would have been more interesting if the M6 was in the poll instead of the CL63. My vote would have been for the M6 vs. the R8 , why? because I like "practicle" cars that have exciting abilities that can pretty much keep up with their exotic enemies!

The R8 just doesn't suit my personality. I like it low key, under stated beauty is what I'm into. The R8 is abit of a show of car with its millions of carbon fibre panels just placed there for decoration, LED lights and lit engine bay. That is just too much for me. You might as well place blue light tubes under the car, put spinners on it and wear a Jacob.Co watch to complete the whole attention whore image.
The Benz on the other hand is like a 25 years old brunette career woman wearing a black Chanel dress and red lip stick. Attractive in a sophisticated way just like CL63.

Sure the CL63 is a beautiful car. BUT if you want something that almost nobody else drives, something that when a Ferrari Enzo is next beside you, the Enzo driver will look at your car and drool, something new, something absolutely so beautiful, something hardle anybody can dislike, something exclusive...then you will choose this:



And as I can see, the majority of the voters also feel that. the R8 is already and classic. This is the car that will really take Audi so many steps forward! Hands down!!!
