well that's just because BMW can actually make the M3 better than the RS4 by looking at the flaws of the RS4 and how to make it faster...same with RS6 and M5.

BTW, sunnyman....I'm sure the M5 is gonna be faster than the S6...but when it comes to comfort and ride...I'm sure its better than the M5....Audi made the S6 very well.

We all have our own opinions but I don`t believe this is the case. Audi has a certain clientele thay appeal to and thats pretty much set and known in the automotive kingdom. If thay were trying to appeal to the BMW masses we would see alot of BMW design philosphy in Audi. We clearly don`t see that!

In any case Audi needs to hurry-up with the RS6. I`m sure the new RS6 would shut up alot of mouths, even amoung the journalists with these comparos.

i think the lap time speaks everything. there will still be an RS6 on top of S6, but now S6's lap is only 2 sec slower than M5. so think Quattro is a brilliant stuff, although it is heavy. btw, what do you think the lap of RS6 will be (both old and new one)? 1.13,3?

i don't think Audi likes to be behind of BMW... and i know quattro is something that BMW can never achieve, in terms of either safety and traction-lap time...

M5 is 20% more expensive than S6.
S6 is much more relaxed and comfortable than M5, but the lap time in Hockenham is only 2s slower!
so how will the RS6 more expensive than the M5 be?

have you ever tried a M5 E60? (I have), 2 sec is a lot on a small track like hock.

and Quattro isnt superior over BMW X-drive anymore. Lately BMW has won comparison were they tested x-drive vs Quattro in winter. The car with X-drive had better traction and but a faster laptime than the car with quattro.

Sorry but only BMW fans believe that. Just because an unknown Swedish car magazine says that it doesn't mean that it's true.
One of the most well know magazines "Automobile" said that M5 was third behind E63 and S6 but i don't see you accepting that.

Its audi fans that refuse to face truth. Dont blame in on us. Quattro isnt superior anymore and thats sad truth to some, no names mentioned
Sweden have winters and very snowy roads, I trust our carmags rather than the carmaker. Unknown swedish carmag, now you being rude.

BTW the two largest carmags in Sweden come to this conclusion during wintertests where different cars with different systmens were tested. Just becuase they arent wellknown to the world doesnt mean what they say are rubbish.

The new RS6 to lap in 1.13,3 min is going to be impossible on a track like Hockenheim. Instead it will be close to M5 laptime, maybe slightly faster.
But 1.13,3 min around Hockenheim with a stock RS6 wont happen.

See this link, times for different cars. If the RS6 get 1.13,3min then its the same league as SLR, M3 CSL, 997 Turbo, F430.
