This is just great, the car is such an achievement!

When I was in Gothenburg last week I rode a rollercoaster that did 0-75 in 2 seconds which was faceripping quick and the Veyron is pretty much just as fast and holds the acceleration longer, just wicked!

It was posted here by me. I later added a note about this same car beating the production car quarter-mile record.

Oh I see, that would explain it, Thats still rediculously quick.

Taking in the Veyron for what it is, this 0-100-0 time is nothing short of astonishing. I tip my hat to the insane people at VAG for making this car see the light of day.

A fighter jet from a standstill isn't all that quick unless you're launching off of an aircraft carrier or something. And skydiving is only a freefall, so you're only going to pull as many Gs as the Earth pulls you down with.
