Well unless we relativise things to the point that everything is pointless, here goes:

- new/fresh vs old/dated diferent from beautifull vs ugly.
- the MB looks old dated, the rest don't.
Amen.

yes I like Audi and BMW but would choose BMW most of the times but it wont make me dislike Audi cause of that. I might be BMW fan but Im more openminded than some of you. BTW my next car is probably a Saab 93 or Audi A4 , a BMW isnt even an option .
lol bmw is to you what audi is to me. We are just as bad as each other... nearly, your just a little worse than me

My next car could very well be a BMW as audi dont have a coupe version of the A4 yet.

I think Just_Me isn't taking issue with what car you prefer or what car you might buy next. I think his point is that he doesn't refer to BMW as "we", whereas you or someone else referred to Audi as "we".

It shows that he doesn't have his personal identity staked to the brand, just a preference for what it stands for.

Exactly, thats what Im talking about. It sounds just weird to say the word "we" instead of the carbrand.
I didnt create the brand, I dont own the company BMW, I dont work for BMW, Im not a BMW, I only like the brand and that's all.

Karma for you

What about your favourite football team? Millions of people would say "We" when theyre talking about theyre teams performance to someone.

And Im sure you have said we before too

Some like Audi A6 , some BMW 5 and some like Mercedes E. No one of them is subjectively worse than the other two so it comes to personal preferences. Simple as that.

Now give me an A6 please cause the other two suck...big time... j/k

LOL Yannis.

YoungWarrior - come on, don't persist with the same argument, just let it be. If you're so sure he said it, then find an instance and I'll believe you. Just_me's certain he wouldn't, and didn't, so the onus is on you to prove otherwise - if you still think it's worth pursuing.

I for one wouldn't refer to a favourite team as "we", except for Australia (e.g. in soccer), since it sort of is the country's team. Certainly not a car brand, though! The personal connection is much less. A car is only a product, after all; you either like the company's philosophy or you don't. I don't feel any particular personal relationship with the company.
