| Re: German AMS: 550i vs FL E500 The result isn't well-defined. The Benz is more comfortable and the BMW is sportier. AMS praise the air suspension in the Benz and the foolproof operation. But the comprehensive cover (here in Germany) costs twice as much. |

I wouldn`t call the E500 "it not being there yet". Both these cars are equally good and thay excell in defferent areas. If all cars had the same talents the automotive world would be very boring

yes it was, lets see what the facelifted 5er can do but a 5er winning in AMS seem to be very rare sigth, I better wait for the swedish version of AMS instead lol or better up, making up my own conclusions about these two.

 | Re: German AMS: 550i vs FL E500 lol its funny...if an M car beat an AMG by similar numbers, all the BMW fans would be claiming the performance gap was huge. But since its MB's excellent new V8 that's doing the walloping, this noticeable performance gap is passed off as being negligible.  That said, if I were in the market for a car in this class, as excellent as the FL E may be, I'd wait it out for a FL 5. |
