Im not from USA, so i have no real image of what Cadi' is about and all the other connotations that come with the Cadillac badge...so im picking the Cadi coz to me it looks the best. It looks sharp, it's looks cohesive (the faceilft on the Vectra looks too forced to me).... and it looks real sporty too. The Saab looks nice, not overdone, and neither under-done...but it hasnt got that extra 'oomph' in design that the Cadillac has. ![]()

I also like the car in the dark, a lot of green lights on the cockpit. I already checked what colour I want and also after enginetuning companies ![]()

![]() | Re: Cadillac BLS vs Opel Vectra vs Saab 93 Well, we have a pre-FL Holden (Opel/Vauxhall) Vectra. I quite like the looks, actually. However, I too think the FL version looks a bit odd. The front really doesn't fit the rest of the car; however, it's certainly not so 'boring' now, for better or worse.. Anyhow, the BLS is a no-no. Oddly proportioned and ungainly looking. I also don't really want to live with the Cadillac brand, especially when the product is nothing spectacular in itself. The 9-3 is a pretty good looking car. Well proportioned and seems quite comfortable inside. JM, if you get one, not a bad way to go However, honestly, if I was spending my own money, I wouldn't get one. The cheapest ones here start at $39,990, for what's really a 'stripper' model. Accord Euro Luxury is similar money; Passat starts from $42,990 with the 2.0 TDI. I couldn't really condone buying the 9-3 at that price.I guess it sort of leaves the Vectra as a good-value proposition, and not too bad looking. The new grille, bumper and headlights are a bit odd, but the rest of the car is still nicely proportioned and has a design language I like. It's also pretty cheap around these parts - although we're not getting FL models, since the pre-FL Vectra hadn't been selling well here (I think Holden initially priced it too high, and when they eventually brought it down, people had already forgotten). I don't want to sound biased, but I still vote for the Vectra. The 9-3, mind you, is probably a better car, and looks a little better, though obviously in a different way. If I got one of these for free, it's probably what I'd want. |
